Account Deletion

Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your VitalStack Fitness account and the data tied to it, what gets deleted, and what we must keep. You do not need to sign in to read it.

Delete Your Data Without Deleting Your Account

You do not have to delete your account to delete your data. You can remove individual records yourself while keeping your account and continuing to use VitalStack Fitness, and you can ask us to remove records that have no delete button.

Records you can delete yourself

Sign in and use the delete control next to the record. It takes effect right away, for that one record only:

  • Workout records – Workouts page, trash icon on the workout
  • Workout templates – Workouts page, Load Template, trash icon beside the template
  • Nutrition and calorie logs – Dashboard, Nutrition Tracker, trash icon on the entry
  • Hydration logs – Dashboard, Daily Hydration, trash icon on the entry
  • Weight measurements – Dashboard, History, trash icon on the row
  • Custom exercises – Exercise Library, trash icon on the exercise

Some screens list only your most recent entries, for example the last 30 nutrition logs and only today’s hydration entries. Older entries still exist on your account, so if you want those removed too, include them in a request below. There is no single control that clears a whole category at once, and no confirmation step: the trash icon deletes that record immediately.

Records you can ask us to delete

The following have no delete button in the app. Ask us and we will remove them from your account:

  • Mood and energy logs
  • Your supplement plan, including the answers you gave in the questionnaire and the recommendations generated for you
  • Support messages you sent us
  • Entries older than the most recent ones shown on screen

To make the request:

  1. Open our support form.
  2. Choose the category Data or privacy request.
  3. Say which records you want deleted (for example, all mood logs, or your supplement plan) and the dates involved if you know them.
  4. Include the email address on your account so we can find it.

Please do not send passwords, medical records or prescription details. We never need them to delete a record. We reply to the email address you provide, usually within two business days, and confirm what was removed.

What happens to the records you delete

  • Immediately: the record stops appearing in the app and stops being used in any total, chart, streak or report.
  • Up to 30 days: the deleted record stays in our hosting platform’s deleted-records area, where only we could restore it, before it is permanently erased. Ask us if you want it erased sooner.
  • Copy we cannot shorten: a deleted record can still exist inside a rotating platform backup until that backup rotates out (7 days on the platform’s Elite plan, up to 30 days on Business and Enterprise); usage analytics events tied to an anonymous ID are deleted automatically after 60 days; and security and system logs are kept without a published period and cannot be deleted individually.

Deleting individual records does not delete your account

Your account stays active, your sign-in details keep working, your remaining records stay where they are, and reminders continue unless you turn them off. Only the full account deletion described below removes your account and everything tied to it. We cannot erase a deleted record instantly and permanently: it leaves active use at once, but the retention periods above still apply.

Delete your account inside the app

If you can still sign in, you can delete your account yourself at any time, without contacting us:

  1. Open VitalStack Fitness and sign in.
  2. Go to your Dashboard.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

You are signed out immediately, your password and sign-in codes stop working, and reminder emails stop. Streaks, badges and checklist history stored on that device are cleared at the same time.

If you cannot access the app

If you no longer have the app, cannot sign in, or your account is an administrator account (which cannot be deleted from inside the app), send us a deletion request:

  1. Open our support form.
  2. Choose the category Account deletion request.
  3. Include the email address on the account and the message “Delete my account”.

We will confirm the account is yours and then complete the deletion. Please do not send passwords, medical records or prescription details. We never need them to process a request.

What is deleted

Removed immediately

Your account and your ability to sign in. You are signed out, your password and sign-in codes no longer work, and signing in again cannot bring the account back. A new account would start empty.

Removed from the app immediately, permanently erased after 30 days

The following nine categories of records stop appearing anywhere in the app and stop being used in any calculation the moment you confirm. They then sit in the platform’s deleted-records area for 30 days before being erased for good.

  • Your supplement plan, including the answers you gave in the questionnaire and the recommendations generated for you
  • Your workouts and any workout templates you created
  • Your nutrition and calorie logs
  • Your hydration logs
  • Your weight logs
  • Your mood and energy logs
  • Any custom exercises you added
  • Any support messages you sent us

What is retained, and for how long

Deletion is immediate in the app, but a few copies outlive it on schedules we cannot shorten:

30 days: deleted records are recoverable, by us only

The nine record categories above are held in the platform's deleted-records area for 30 days before automatic permanent deletion. During that window the app's owner can restore them from the platform dashboard; there is no way for you, or for anyone using the app itself, to restore them. If you want them erased sooner, ask us and we will permanently delete them during the window.

Platform backups: 7 or 30 days depending on plan

Our hosting platform keeps rotating database backups. Its documentation states that its Elite plan keeps 7 days of backups and its Business and Enterprise plans keep 30 days. A deleted account or record can therefore still exist inside a backup until that backup rotates out. An individual person's data cannot be edited, restored or deleted from a backup on request.

Analytics: 60 days

Usage events recorded by our hosting platform are tied to an anonymous user ID rather than your email address. The platform documents that this data is deleted automatically after 60 days, and it cannot be removed for one person ahead of that schedule on request.

Security and system logs

Request and security logs are kept to operate the service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. The platform does not publish a retention period for them, so we do not state one. Individual log entries cannot be deleted on request, and they are not used to rebuild your profile.

Emails we already sent you

Reminder emails stop when you delete your account, but copies already delivered remain in your own mailbox and are outside our control.

We do not offer a separate recovery window and cannot undo a deletion once the 30-day deleted-records period has passed. Where a specific period is not published by our hosting platform, we do not promise one. None of these records are used to contact you, and we do not sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
